You May Not Need To File Your Tax Returns by This Month’s Deadline

Are you ready to file your taxes? The Federal Tax Filing Deadline is just about here for most people … but NOT necessarily for YOU.

You can get a 6-month AUTOMATIC extension by submitting Form 4868 by April 15th. It’s a very short form (only one-fourth of a page), and can be submitted electronically or by mail.

Why file “late?” At least three reasons.

1. You may still be learning about the huge tax breaks you can qualify for with a home-based
business.

2. Your tax preparer will have more time to devote to your tax savings in September than in April.

3. You may drastically reduce your chances of being selected for a “random audit” by filing as late as possible.
