Will You Be Traveling this Summer?

If you’re going to be traveling this summer, you might want to review Chapter 8 of “Its’ How Much You KEEP, That Counts! Not how much you Make,” to refresh your memory on the requirements for legally converting your “personal travel” into tax-deductible Business Trips. It all boils down to what you do up-front — more so than what you do on the trip.

HINT: Do not use a bright yellow highlighter to mark-off the dates in your day planner, and DEFINITELY do not write words like “Visit Family” or “Vacation” in your day planner.

In case of an audit, those words will most likely kill your deduction, because those words scream out that the Primary purpose of your travel was Personal, not Business.

There’s a great “Tax Tip You Can Bank On!” from Ron Mueller, author “Its’ How Much You KEEP, That Counts! Not how much you Make”

If you don’t already have “Its’ How Much You KEEP, That Counts! Not how much you Make,” you can still get it for as little as $27.95 at www.taxsaveronline.com
